David Baltimore is President Emeritus and the Judge Shirley Hufstedler Professor of Biology at the California Institute of Technology. He served as Caltech's President from 1997 to 2006 and held academic titles including Millikan Professor (2006–2021), Distinguished Professor (2021), and Hufstedler Professor (2021–present).
