Dr. David Badov is an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at the Peninsula Clinical School, Monash University. He is currently the Head of Gastroenterology at Frankston and Rosebud Hospitals (Peninsula Health), Medical Director of Direct Endoscopy, and Director of the Peninsula Liver Clinic. With nearly 30 years of experience, his expertise spans diagnostic and therapeutic gastroscopy/colonoscopy, colorectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, and hepatology.
Education: Graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1989. Trained at Royal Melbourne Hospital, Alfred Hospital, and Frankston Hospital.
Research focuses on Bowel Cancer Prevention, Preventative Medicine, and Longevity. His work aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly in advancing health and well-being (SDG 3). Over 120,000 endoscopic procedures performed, with publications in major gastroenterological journals.
