David Anderson is a Leverhulme Trust Early Career Fellow at Queen Mary University of London, specializing in modern and contemporary literature, film, and intercultural comparison. His research explores nostalgia in popular culture, urban environments, and transnational cultural dynamics. He holds a PhD from UCL, where he also earned his BA and MA, and has held postdoctoral roles at UCL Urban Lab and the Leibniz Centre in Berlin.

Research Interests: Anderson’s work bridges literature, film, and urban studies, focusing on how built environments shape cultural narratives. Current projects include a study of Anglo-German cultural relations in post-1980s popular culture.
