David Alvarez Garcia

David Alvarez Garcia is a full-time Lecturer at the University of Vigo, affiliated with the Faculty of Education and Social Work and the Department of Sociology, Political Science and Administration and Philosophy. His research focuses on Moral Philosophy and Feminist Theory within the SP1 Feminist Theory research group.

Education:

• PhD in Philosophy from the University of Santiago de Compostela (2003), with a dissertation on "Cosmopolitanism, multiculturalism and tolerance: normative aspects of international justice" supervised by Dr. María José Agra Romero.

Research Interests:

• Explores ethical frameworks in global justice, diversity governance, and cosmopolitan values.
• Engages with feminist theoretical approaches to political and social structures.
