David A. Vander Laan

David A. Vander Laan is a Professor of Philosophy at Westmont College. His research focuses on metaphysics and philosophy of religion, with specializations in the special composition question, counterfactual semantics, free will, divine conservation, and the afterlife. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Notre Dame and a bachelor’s degree from Calvin University in mathematics and philosophy.
