David A. Jaeger is a Professor at the School of Economics & Finance, University of St Andrews, UK. He is affiliated with the Applied Microeconomics Cluster, Handa Centre for the Study of Terrorism and Political Violence (CSTV), and Centre for Higher Education Research (CHER). His research spans applied microeconomics, labor economics, health economics, policy analysis, and conflict studies.
David earned his PhD in Economics (University of Michigan, 1995), with prior MAs in Economics and Statistics. His work has been published in top journals like the American Economic Review and Journal of Public Economics.
