Professor Dave Michayluk is a Professor and Head of the Finance Discipline Group at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS). He holds a PhD from Louisiana State University and is a Chartered Accountant (CA) and Certified Public Accountant (CPA). His research focuses on financial markets, behavioral finance, and financial literacy. He has led the UTS Finance Department since 2017 and has extensive international teaching experience across 5 countries. Michayluk has advised startups, securities exchanges, and financial institutions, and co-founded the International Journal of Managerial Finance. His recent funded research includes projects on financial literacy and small business lending barriers.

Research Interests: Behavioral finance, market microstructure, financial decision-making, financial literacy measurement, and corporate finance strategies. His work bridges theoretical frameworks with practical applications in personal finance and institutional markets.
