Dauri Shippey is a Lecturer at Rider University's Conservatory, holding both a Bachelor of Music and Master of Music in Voice and Opera from The Juilliard School. She specializes in vocal pedagogy with extensive international performance experience in leading operatic roles including Tosca, Turandot, and Fiordiligi. Her professional engagements include solo performances at venues such as Lincoln Center and the National Day of Prayer in Washington, DC.
Her research focuses on voice technique and operatic performance, with students regularly winning national competitions including NFAA National Young Artist Competition and Classical Singer National Finals. She founded and directs the Passaggio Chorale (since 1998) and serves on the summer faculty of the Spoleto Vocal Arts Symposium in Italy.
