Daskalov Roumen

Roumen Daskalov is a Professor at both Central European University (Budapest) and New Bulgarian University (Sofia), with a focus on Modern East European history, Balkan and Bulgarian history, and historiography. His research explores themes of underdevelopment/modernization, entangled history, communism, and nationalism/national identities.
