Darryl Mehring

Darryl Mehring is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Colorado Denver, affiliated with the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. He holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Colorado Boulder (1998), an M.A. from the same institution (1977), and a B.S. in Psychology and Philosophy from Southern Colorado State College (1973).

His expertise spans Logic and Language, History of Ethics, Modern Philosophy, and Philosophy of Death and Dying. He teaches courses such as Philosophy of Consciousness, Introduction to Philosophy, Logic and Scientific Reasoning, and seminars on Spinoza. His notable publication includes a 1998 co-authored work on Spinoza's ethical framework.
