Dr. Darren Valenta serves as Assistant Professor in the Communication Studies and Theatre Art Department at Concordia College, joining the faculty in Fall 2021. He directs the Speech and Debate Program and was appointed Director of Core Curriculum and First-Year Experience in January 2025.

Dr. Valenta leads institutional initiatives through the Speech and Debate Program and Core Curriculum oversight, shaping academic programming and student development at Concordia College.
