Darren Clarke

Dr. Darren Clarke is an Assistant Professor in Climate and Environmental Change at Dublin City University's School of History and Geography. His research focuses on climate adaptation, environmental policy and governance, and human wellbeing, emphasizing transformative change as a strategy to address climate challenges equitably. He co-authored the 2024 book Positive Psychology and Biodiversity Conservation, exploring pro-environmental actions' link to wellbeing.

His work spans climate policy analysis, urban environmental design, and community resilience.
