Judge Darrell Mavis has served as an Adjunct Professor at Southwestern Law School since 1996, teaching Trial Advocacy and the Art of Persuasion. He also teaches at USC Gould School of Law since 2015. As a Superior Court Judge of California since 2006, he has presided over over 100 jury trials and supervised 40 judges in multiple courthouses. His legal career includes 14 years as a prosecutor with the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office, handling high-profile cases like a DEA undercover operation resulting in double homicide charges.
