Darragh O'Brien is Assistant Professor in the School of Computing at Dublin City University's Faculty of Engineering and Computing, and member of the ADAPT research centre. His research spans network security, software security assurance, and speech processing technologies.
O'Brien's technical work includes malware detection systems, DNS traffic analysis for botnet identification, and secure programming methods. His speech processing research focuses on pathological speech classification using machine learning and glottal source modeling.
