Darmicka Sukanthan Rajendra is a Senior Teaching Fellow at Bond University's Faculty of Society & Design, affiliated with the Centre for Comparative Construction Research. She holds a PhD in Construction and Project Management from Queensland University of Technology (2017) and a BSc in Quantity Surveying from the University of Moratuwa (2012). Her research focuses on ICT adoption in construction SMEs, green building technologies, and construction defect mitigation strategies.
Her doctoral work developed the Technology Readiness and Acceptance Model (TRAM) to predict ICT adoption intentions among small builders. Recent research explores evolutionary game theory for green technology adoption and fuzzy-based occupational risk assessment frameworks.
Rajendra has published extensively in journals like Journal of Management in Engineering and Construction Innovation, emphasizing practical solutions for construction industry challenges. Her work bridges theoretical models with real-world applications in productivity improvement and safety protocols.
