Darcey Evans

Darcey Evans is a Postdoctoral Scholar in the Department of Anthropology at the University of California, Los Angeles. Their research bridges environmental and social justice with cultural anthropology, focusing on Indigenous sovereignty and marine governance.

Darcey’s recent publication explores the political ecology of salmon aquaculture and industrial viruses, reflecting a broader trend in their scholarship to challenge settler-colonial narratives in environmental governance.
