Dany Gagnon

Dr. Dany Gagnon is a Full Professor at the School of Rehabilitation within the Faculty of Medicine at Université de Montréal. His research focuses on biomechanical and clinical aspects of mobility impairments, particularly in individuals with spinal cord injuries (SCI) and other neurological conditions. Key areas include wheelchair propulsion biomechanics, exoskeleton-assisted gait rehabilitation, and musculoskeletal health monitoring using advanced imaging techniques.

Education:

Research Interests: Dr. Gagnon leads innovative studies on wearable robotics (e.g., exoskeletons), neuromobilization techniques for tendon pathologies, and prevention of secondary complications in SCI patients. His work emphasizes translating engineering solutions into clinical practice to improve mobility and quality of life.
