Danuta Kruk

Danuta Kruk is a Professor at the Department of Physics and Biophysics, Faculty of Food Science, University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, Poland. She is an active researcher and doctoral supervisor with a strong publication record, including 139 publications indexed in WoS/Scopus and an h-index of 27.

Her research lies at the intersection of physics, biology, and medicine, with a focus on understanding the dynamics and structure of biomolecular systems. She applies advanced Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) techniques to medical problems and investigates the properties of nanomaterials for biological and medical applications, particularly in the context of drug delivery systems.

Danuta Kruk has successfully promoted three doctors and is currently supervising five doctoral students, demonstrating her active role in academic mentorship. She confirms the availability of funding and adequate laboratory infrastructure to support new doctoral research projects, and she is open to supervising both Polish and international doctoral candidates.
