Danny Alon Ellenbogen

Danny Alon Ellenbogen is a Clinical Associate Professor of Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases at the University of Nicosia Medical School, serving concurrently as Associate Director of the MD Programme. He holds an MD from the Hebrew University-Hadassah Medical School (Jerusalem, Israel) and completed specializations in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases at the Meir Medical Centre (Kfar Saba, Israel).

His research focuses on antibiotic stewardship strategies, epidemiology and treatment of drug-resistant pathogens, and comprehensive care for individuals with HIV. With significant clinical experience, he has led a medical department affiliated with Tel Aviv University and worked in HIV/sexual health clinics.

Ellenbogen has extensive teaching experience, tutoring medical students and residents. His roles emphasize both clinical practice and academic leadership in medical education and infectious disease management.
