Dannie Verity

Dannie Verity is a PhD candidate in Politics and International Studies (PAIS) at the University of Warwick, concurrently serving as an Associate Tutor. She holds roles as Communications Officer at Democracy in Africa and Communications Lead for the Midlands East Africa Hub. Her research examines political agency during critical junctures in Kenya, comparing post-election negotiations of 2007/8 and 2017/18 with a focus on governance, conflict resolution, and political performance analysis.

Education: Master's in International Development (Distinction) from the University of Birmingham (focusing on governance and conflict resolution), and a BA in Political Science with International Relations, also from Birmingham.
