Danilea Werner is an Associate Professor at the College of Liberal Arts, Auburn University, within the Department of Sociology, Anthropology & Social Work. Research Interests: Danilea Werner focuses on health and wellness issues affecting older adults and adolescents, mental health disaster preparedness, and female adolescent leadership mentoring. Her work bridges clinical practice with academic research, informed by her prior roles in public health and clinical therapy.

Professional Background: Before joining Auburn University, she worked as the National Health Director for The OASIS Institute and as an assistant clinical professor at St. Louis University. She has expertise in disaster preparedness, public health education, and clinical therapy.

Committee Involvement: Werner has served on the planning committee for the Empowering Young Women conference in St. Louis, MO, and continues this work through the Young Women's Leaders Program at Auburn University's Women's Resource Center.
