Danielle Labhardt

Danielle Labhardt is a Senior Lecturer in Forensic Psychology at Manchester Metropolitan University's Faculty of Health and Education. Her research focuses on bystander intervention in sexual assault contexts, victimization experiences, and experimental methodologies using immersive technologies.

Labhardt develops innovative experimental paradigms measuring actual bystander behavior, with recent work examining cultural differences in intervention attitudes and drug-facilitated sexual assault perceptions. Her research informs violence prevention programs by identifying factors influencing prosocial responses to sexual violence.

She teaches courses on forensic psychology and research methods while serving as Psychology Admissions Team Lead and Research Seminar Co-Lead. Her methodological contributions include triangulation designs using both quantitative and qualitative approaches.
