Danielle Hanna Rached is a doctoral student at the University of Edinburgh and served as a Former Visiting Researcher at the Research Department Global Governance. During her three-month stay at the WZB (Berlin Social Science Center) from October to December 2011, she focused on her research project: 'The International Law of Climate Change: Accountability and Institutional Competence.'
Her research interests span International Law, Global Administrative Law, Accountability Mechanisms, and the Climate Change Regime. Her work examines legal frameworks governing transnational environmental governance, particularly the intersection of institutional competence and accountability in global climate policy.
