She works on the C-FAARER project within the O'Connor Lab, focusing on feasibility studies for regenerative seaweed farming in the Atlantic and Arctic sea basins, particularly in Norway and Ireland.
- Climate change mitigation and remediation strategies
- Enteric methane mitigation
- Community-driven regional resilience projects
- Microbial strain engineering for low-carbon fuels
Her research bridges plant science, industrial biotechnology, and climate entrepreneurship. She previously conducted EPA-funded work on Ireland’s Climate Change Assessment (ICCA) and founded the seaweed-based GHG reduction start-up DúlaBio.
