Danielle Armour is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Education at the University of Queensland, within the Faculty of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences. She serves as Co-Director of Indigenous Engagement and has cultural links to Kamilaroi Country in Northern NSW through her paternal Grandmother.
Dr. Armour's research focuses on Aboriginal education, particularly exploring the complexities of working between Indigenous and Western knowledge systems in educational settings. Her work emphasizes culturally responsive pedagogies and community collaboration. Key research areas include:

Dr. Armour actively supervises doctoral students working on projects related to Indigenous education, truth-telling, culturally responsive school communities, and First Nations thinking in learning. Her current research is supported by multiple grants including the Tagai Mathematics Project (2024-2026), Equity and Excellence Behavior Review Tools for Queensland State Schools (2023-2027), and the FamilyLinQ Evaluation Framework (2022-2026).
