Daniele Visioni

Daniele Visioni is Assistant Professor of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at Cornell University and Affiliate Scientist at the National Center for Atmospheric Research. His research examines stratospheric aerosol-climate interactions, solar radiation modification strategies, and climate intervention impacts. He co-chairs the Geoengineering Model Intercomparison Project (GeoMIP) and contributed to the 2022 WMO Scientific Assessment of Ozone Depletion.

Research focuses on improving climate model representations of aerosol effects, assessing geoengineering scenarios, and understanding atmospheric dynamics. Recent work explores sulfur injection strategies and their effects on ozone chemistry and global climate systems.
