Daniele Ramella is an Associate Professor of Instruction in Temple University's Department of Chemistry. His research focuses on chemical education innovations, particularly active/collaborative learning strategies to enhance student engagement and self-efficacy. He develops methods to improve academic success through pedagogical redesign.
Ramella investigates how structured cooperative learning and peer teaching foster communities of learners. His work addresses affective aspects of learning, demonstrating that increased enjoyment correlates with improved retention in STEM fields.
