Daniela Pinter

Daniela Pinter is a Senior Lecturer at the Institute of Psychology, Faculty of Natural Sciences, Karl-Franzens-University Graz. Her work bridges neuroscience, clinical neuropsychology, and medical rehabilitation through advanced imaging techniques.

Dr. Pinter's research focuses on neuroscience and brain research, particularly leveraging Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) to study Clinical Neuropsychology and Neurology. Her projects include investigating motor rehabilitation in stroke patients via resting-state fMRI and diffusion tensor imaging (DTI), reflecting her expertise in Medical Rehabilitation and Neuropsychology. She actively collaborates within the Brain and Behavior research network.

Daniela Pinter has received multiple awards, including the Research Prize Initiative Brain Research Styria (2012) for best publication and the BA-CA Visiting Scientist Program (2013, 2011). She has been awarded travel grants by the European Stroke Research Foundation (2016) and ECTRIMS-ACTRIMS (2017). Her professional journey includes a postdoctoral research stay at the Donders Institute (2016) and leadership of the Hertha Firnberg project (2015).

She is affiliated with the Institute of Psychology at Karl-Franzens-University Graz and participates in interdisciplinary research networks advancing neuroscientific understanding.
