Daniela Major is an Early Stage Researcher in Digital Humanities at the School of Advanced Study, University of London, affiliated with the Digital Humanities Research Hub. She holds a BA in History from NOVA School of Social Sciences and Humanities and an MLitt in Intellectual History from the University of St Andrews. Her research focuses on media coverage of the European Union (2004–2019), European intellectual history, and the conceptualization of born-digital content as historical sources. She is part of the CLEOPATRA ITN, an EU-funded project analyzing multilingual digital content related to contemporary events.

Her current project investigates the transience of web content and its implications for scholarly research.
