Daniela Castro Camilo

Dr. Daniela Castro Camilo is a Senior Lecturer in Statistics at the University of Glasgow's School of Mathematics & Statistics. Her research focuses on extreme value theory applied to environmental hazards, including landslides, climate extremes, and risk assessment. She leads projects like the Mitigating Landslides Impacts in Scotland (MLIS) and Geostatistical Binary Models for Extremes (GEOBEx), funded by the Scottish Government and EPSRC.
