Daniela A. Bota, MD, PhD is a Professor of Neurology and Vice Dean of Clinical Research at the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine. Her primary affiliation is with the Sue and Bill Gross Stem Cell Research Center. She leads the UCI Alpha Stem Cell Clinic and focuses on translational neuro-oncology research, particularly in cognitive impairment from cancer treatments and novel therapeutic strategies for malignant gliomas.
Her research interests include developing interventions for chemotherapy-induced cognitive deficits in adolescents and young adults (AYAs), leveraging stem cell technologies, and advancing clinical trials for brain tumors.
