Prof. Daniel Schunk is the Chair of Public and Behavioral Economics at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz (JGU), within the Faculty of Management and Economics. His research focuses on behavioral economics, experimental economics, and public policy evaluation, with particular emphasis on topics such as self-regulation interventions, labor market policies, and cognitive development in children. He has conducted extensive studies using randomized controlled trials and field experiments to assess the effectiveness of educational and policy interventions.
