About
Daniel Rossbach is a Researcher at the Institute of Microsystems Technology (IMTEK) within the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Freiburg. He works at the Fritz Hüttinger Professorship for Microelectronics under the direction of Prof. Dr. Manoli at the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg.
Born in Karlsruhe in 1978, Rossbach received his diploma in microsystems engineering from the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg in 2008. His diploma thesis at the Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Solid State Physics focused on developing low-noise UHF preamplifiers for magnetic resonance imaging applications. Since 2009, he has been employed at the Institute for Micro- and Information Technology of the Hahn-Schickard Society eV while conducting research at the university.
Rossbach's research spans Microelectronics, Analog Circuit Design, and Energy-Autonomous Sensor Systems, with particular expertise in CMOS-integrated low-power analog circuits for telemetric power and data transmission. His work supports the development of sensor nodes that operate without external power sources, contributing to advancements in microsystem technology and embedded applications.
Based at Georges-Köhler-Allee 102, room 102-03-035 in Freiburg, Rossbach can be contacted via email at rossbach@imtek.uni-freiburg.de, phone at +49 761 203-8527, or fax at +49 761 203-7592. His position represents the strong collaboration between the Hahn-Schickard Society and the University of Freiburg in advancing microelectronics research and applications.
