Daniel Randall

Daniel Randall serves as Associate Professor in the School of Art Craft and Design at Tennessee Technological University, overseeing metalsmithing and blacksmithing concentrations within the Department of Art Faculty CC.

His artistic research focuses on traditional metalworking techniques including goldsmithing, silversmithing, and blacksmithing—practices he has maintained since age fifteen. Randall exhibits internationally through prestigious platforms like the Forge International Invitational Touring Exhibition (2017) and Sobaek: Speaking of the Material in Seoul, Korea (2013).

Notable honors include:

• Gold Award at the 26th Smithsonian Craft Show (2008)
• Second Place in Holloware Category at the 2007 Saul Bell Design Award Competition

Randall mentors students in metal arts concentrations from his campus studio in the CC Glass & Metal (CCGM) facility, maintaining active integration of professional practice and academic instruction.
