Daniel R. Lee

Dr. Daniel R. Lee serves as a Professor and Department Chair of Criminology and Criminal Justice at Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP), within the College of Arts, Humanities, Media, and Public Affairs. He has been a faculty member since 2001 and previously coordinated IUP's Master of Arts program in Criminology and Criminal Justice (2002–2008). His academic credentials include a PhD in Criminology from the University of Maryland (2001), an MA in Criminal Justice from SUNY Albany (1995), and a BA in Criminology from the University of Maryland (1991).

Lee’s research focuses on criminological theory, criminal justice policy, and violence/crime prevention.
