Daniel Novakovic

Daniel Novakovic is an Associate Professor in Otolaryngology at the University of Sydney's Faculty of Medicine and Health, specifically affiliated with the Central Clinical School. He serves as Director of the Dr Liang Voice Program and holds a leadership position as Head of the ENT department at Canterbury Hospital within the Sydney Local Health District.

His research interests span multiple specialized areas including wound healing, vocal fold physiology, laser-tissue interactions, patient reported outcomes research for voice disorders, laryngeal botulinum toxin applications, and various laryngeal disorders. His current research projects focus on voice outcomes after thyroid surgery, development of a bionic larynx, laser tissue interactions, injection laryngoplasty, vocal fold pathologies, laryngopharyngeal reflux, recurrent respiratory papillomatosis, and laryngeal botulinum toxin applications.
