PD Dr. Daniel Marc Segesser is a Lecturer and director of undergraduate studies in the Department of Modern and Contemporary History at the University of Bern. He serves on the Institute management team and oversees academic programs at the Institute of History. His office is located at Unitobler, Länggassstrasse 49, room B 003.
Dr. Segesser's research focuses on modern and contemporary historical themes, with particular emphasis on educational methodologies in history. He actively participates in institutional governance through his management role and student supervision responsibilities.
Consultation hours are held Mondays 2:00-4:00 PM via Zoom during the semester, with adjusted schedules communicated through the History Forum during holidays.
