Daniel Litt is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Toronto (St. George campus). His research focuses on Algebraic geometry and Number theory, areas that explore the deep connections between algebraic structures and geometric spaces, as well as the properties of integers and prime numbers. Litt has received significant recognition for his work, including the 2025 Cathleen Synge Morawetz Prize from the Canadian Mathematical Society and the 2024 Sloan Research Fellowship from the Alfred P.
