Daniel L. Labovitz

Daniel L. Labovitz, MD, MS, is an Associate Professor in the Saul R. Korey Department of Neurology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Medical Director of the Montefiore Comprehensive Center for Stroke Care. He specializes in vascular neurology with a focus on stroke diagnosis, prevention, and management, emphasizing interdisciplinary collaboration to improve patient outcomes.

Dr. Labovitz received his BA from Harvard University (1987), MD from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons (1994), and MS in Epidemiology from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health (2001). His postdoctoral training included neurology residency and stroke/neuroepidemiology fellowship at Columbia University's Neurological Institute.

His research focuses on intracerebral hemorrhage and stroke-related epilepsy, producing peer-reviewed publications in journals like Neurology and Stroke.
