Daniel Injung Kwon

Daniel Injung Kwon, MD, is a Clinical Associate Professor at the Keck School of Medicine of USC, within the USC Caruso Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. As a Head and Neck Oncologic Surgeon and Director of Thyroid and Parathyroid Surgery, he specializes in Thyroid Cancer, Parathyroid Disease, and Microvascular Reconstructive Surgery.

• Fellowship-trained at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai
• Otolaryngology residency at Loma Linda University Health Education Consortium
• Board-certified by American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery
• Holds licenses in multiple states including California and New York

Dr. Kwon leads research on improving wound healing in high-risk head and neck cancer patients while exploring functional outcomes and quality of life post-surgery. His work spans telemedicine implementation, health disparities, and surgical technique optimization.
