Daniel Goldmann is Professor for Raw Material Processing and Recycling at Technische Universität Clausthal, where he also serves as Scientific Director of CUTEC Environmental Technology Research Institute and chairs the Recycling Cluster for Strategic Metals (REWIMET). He holds engineering degrees from TU Clausthal (Diploma 1989, PhD 1992).
Research focuses on advanced resource recovery technologies across waste streams, with particular expertise in:

- Bioelectrochemical energy recovery
- Sludge processing and nutrient recycling
