Professor Daniel Giammar is the Walter E. Browne Professor of Environmental Engineering at Washington University in St. Louis, holding dual affiliations with the McKelvey School of Engineering and the Department of Earth, Environmental, and Planetary Sciences. He directs the Center for the Environment and is a core member of the Center for Water Innovation and the Institute of Materials Science & Engineering. His research focuses on chemical reactions in aquatic systems, with emphasis on water quality, environmental implications of energy technologies, and nanotechnology applications.
