Dr. Daniel Flippo is an Assistant Professor in the Carl and Melinda Helwig Department of Biological and Agricultural Engineering at Kansas State University. He joined K-State in 2011 with over a decade of industry experience at Cessna Aircraft, John Deere, and Tinker Air Force Base. His research focuses on integrating robotics and automation into sustainable agriculture to address global food production challenges. He holds a Ph.D. (2009) and M.S. (2004) in Mechanical Engineering and a B.S. (1994) from Kansas State University.
