Daniel Fergus

Daniel Fergus serves as a Part-Time Lecturer in the Art Department at University of Northwestern - St. Paul since 2017. Previously, he held faculty positions at St. Cloud State University (Assistant Professor of Multimedia, 2011-2017) and Brown Institute/College (1990-2011), teaching diverse courses spanning foundational art techniques to digital media production.

With over thirty years in art education, Fergus specializes in bridging traditional illustration with digital media. His expertise encompasses animation, video editing, web design, and art history, reflecting a practice that integrates historical artistic methods with contemporary interactive technologies. This dual perspective informs his teaching approach across both physical and digital creative domains.
