Daniel F. Shantz is the Entergy Chair in Clean Energy Engineering and Associate Dean for Research and PhD Programs at Tulane University's School of Science & Engineering. He holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Delaware.
His research focuses on developing novel materials for applications in sustainability, energy storage, and solar energy conversion. Specific interests include zeolite nucleation, biomimetic materials, and hybrid nanocomposites for catalysis and separations.
