Professor Daniel-Erasmus Khan is a Full Professor of International Law at the University of the Federal Armed Forces Munich (since 2006) and an Associate Professor at the Bavarian School of Public Policy. He has served as a Visiting Professor at Université Laval (2016) and University St. Gallen (since 2015).
- Legal education and professional training in Marburg, Geneva, Munich, and New Delhi
- Holds a Doctor of Law (2006) and Habilitation (2003)
His research focuses on Public Law, European Law, International Law, Territorial Law, Legal History, and Constitutional Law. Current projects include Arctic governance with Université Laval and the legacy of the Treaty of Versailles.

- Counsel before the ICJ in landmark cases (Cameroon-Nigeria, LaGrand Case)
