Daniel E. Ponder serves as the L.E. Meador Endowed Chair of Political Science and Professor at Drury University, where he has been faculty since 2006 and achieved full Professor rank in 2012. He directs the Meador Center for Politics and Citizenship, acts as Pre-Law advisor, and oversees Drury's Washington Center Program placing students in national internships.
His educational foundation includes a B.S. in Political Science from Southwest Missouri State University (1989) and a Ph.D. in Political Science from Vanderbilt University (1994).
