Choe's research integrates observational, neuropsychological, behavioral, and biological methods to study intergenerational transmission of psychopathology. Current projects include examining the impact of guaranteed income programs on families facing housing insecurity, screen media effects on child self-regulation, and psychophysiological markers of stress. His work spans early childhood through adolescence.
Publications (2013-2025) focus on child development mechanisms, with recent trends in: screen media impacts, poverty interventions, maternal mental health trajectories, and biobehavioral predictors of parenting. Studies increasingly incorporate physiological measures and policy applications.
