Daniel Dworak

Daniel Dworak is a Research Fellow at the Institute of Architecture, Mainz University of Applied Sciences, specializing in digital humanities and 3D data optimization. As an IT specialist and entrepreneur (TheDworak company), he bridges computational design with cultural heritage preservation through VR/AR technologies.

His research focuses on 3D data compression (creator of the 3dPNG file format), web-optimized 3D geometry workflows, and VR/AR applications for cultural heritage sites. Key projects include the DFG 3D Viewer infrastructure and the kARtka z Synagogą AR app, emphasizing digital reconstruction of historical structures like East Prussian palaces.
