Daniel Duda

Prof. Dr. Daniel Duda is a distinguished academic and former Rector of the Maritime University of Gdynia (1972–1981). He served in multiple leadership roles, including Dean of the Navigation Faculty, Director of Institutes, and Head of Departments. His career spans maritime practice (captain of ships), academia, and administrative leadership. He holds the rank of Captain of Large Shipping and military rank of Second Lieutenant Commander in the Navy.
